Rodeo Outfits (without boots)

With the rodeo season fast approaching, I have decided to revamp my wardrobe with some stylish rodeo outfits. Living in Miles City, Montana, my options for shopping are limited to Murdoch’s, Maurice’s, and a few local boutiques. However, I have stumbled upon a hidden gem called Vintage and Rustics which offers a great selection of rodeo outfits that many people may not be aware of.

Vintage and Rustics

If you are wondering what makes Vintage and Rustic so unique, let me fill you in! An antique and vendor mall, Vintage and Rustics features over one hundred plus vendors selling vintage, repurposed, and upcycled goods, as well as handmade and brand new or retail items. They also have an old original Woolworth’s lunch counter that has been restored and that serves breakfast and lunch beginning at 7:30 in the morning. In addition to that, they have the largest espresso machine in town and a full bakery so that customers can eat and shop at the same time. An interesting tidbit is that Cat’s Claw Great-Grandma, Gilda George, worked in the sewing department of Woolworth’s back in the 1960s. Her doilies continue to be used in the homes of members of her family to this day.

The majority of customers, both tourists and locals, spend many hours or even the entirety of their day shopping within the establishment because there is so much to see and do throughout more than 50,000 square feet of space. There is western, cowboy, antiques, retro, and everything else you can think of ranging from the vintage to the new with ladies clothing, children’s clothing and toys, and yes, there is even some stuff for the gentlemen they’ve got everything covered for every member of the family they’ve got every member of the family covered. If you can’t find what you’re looking for at Vintage and Rustics, then you probably don’t need it. That’s the company’s slogan. And we couldn’t agree with them more!

This first of the few Rodeo outfits really screams summertime, and we are totally head over heels in love with it; this red floral print romper from Silver Sage ($45) is flowing and lightweight, making it the perfect pick for warm weather. The felt hat with a wide brim in a cream-colored felt that we got from West Fork Designs ($65), together with the lovely purse ($135) and stunning jewelry set ($900) that we got from Vintage & Rustics, are both in our opinion products that you simply cannot live without. The very adorable red velvet shoes ($35) are, of course, the finishing touch, but they certainly shouldn’t be overlooked.

This second Rodeo outfit features a number of phenomenal pieces that we love, beginning with the red tank top from Wishes and Dreams that we paired with black leggings but that can be switched out for jeans or shorts during the warmer months. In keeping with the darker tones are some black “booties” from Silver Sage Clothing that cost $75, a black jean fringe jacket from Rollin Rebel, and a stunning crown from Vintage and Rustics.

Now, this Rodeo outfit ensemble has the potential to be one of our favorites; yet, we just can’t make up our minds. Beginning with the hat, it is a black felt wide brim hat (that costs $65) and comes from West Fork Design. The stunning red velvet shirt (which costs $75) and shoes (which cost $35) are both courtesy of the incredible Rollin Rebel Boutique. These amazing pieces are complemented by a cute belt from Elaine Shipley and a stunning silver jewelry set about ($2,000) and supplied by Vintage and Rustics.

Did somebody say they need the perfect date night outfit? We’ve got you covered! This pink leopard print slip dress from Rollin Rebel is an essential item for your wardrobe, and it looks amazing when matched with a dark red leather jacket and tan suede “booties” from Silver Sage Clothing, as well as stunning jewelry from the wonderful Elaine Shipley.
